Remember when I blogged about how that lady who got severely burned was sent $100,000 by her blog fans? I had a similar experience this weekend, minus the scarring. Did I or did I not post just a few short days ago about needing shoe advice? Lo and behold, on Saturday morning, a shoe shopping companion extraordinaire came down from D.C. to assist me, answering the summons of my blog. It's like she could hear the pain of my feet. And we had success! Three pairs of good, stylin' work shoes.

We also had some wonderful meals outside at Richmond eateries, enjoyed a farmers market, and proved to the world once again (just for confirmation) that I suck at bowling but excel at pitcher imbibing.

Exquisite, I tell you.
