"Reading Days" are bullshit.

Here is something I never pondered as an undergrad: "Reading Days" (the days colleges are closed supposedly so that students can read and study a little extra) are total B.S. The reason for this is that the people who really need extra time for this still don't get it! That would be........ ME. How do VCU's Reading Days - tomorrow and Friday - affect me? Not at all. I still have to work, and because my classes are not on those days, I seriously get nothing out of this. Bullshit.

On a sidenote, tonight in class I told a story about Big Chuck wearing a yellow velcro towel wrap and the mental scars that left on me and it was the highlight of my day.
