I just got an email with the subject "Hey gorgeous! It's been way too long." It was a Victoria's Secret ad. Sigh. For a minute there, I thought it was my long lost beach lover or somethin.

This post requires clarification:
BeachLover is not a vague, general figment of Lauren's imagination, but is in fact a real man, Lauren had a summer romance with before college! He has a name, but I do not know what it is, I just know him as "beachlover".
