The joys of Wife Swap

"Wife Swap": another modern classic. Of course they pick the weirdest families they can possibly find to feature on this show. So I wasn't TOTALLY surprised when the mom of one family said, "We are very anti-violins in our house." However, I was still admittedly relieved to figure out that I just heard wrong... she said "anti-violence." Ahh, yes. Me, too.

Now she just DEFINITELY said she goes to three different restaurants to pick up dinner for her kids, depending on what each one wants. It was less weird when she was anti-violins.

addendum: a kid on this show just drank pickle juice from a cup for a snack.

I'm LOST

My obsession with "Lost" has returned, although I'll admit that last week's episode sucked. But anyway, I know my obsession has once again crossed the line, because I just had a little nosebleed and immediately thought, "Oh no, it's happening to me, too!" That will only mean something to those of you who watch the show. Otherwise, just go on and read the next entry. Oh wait I'm not about to write another one.

I'm so freaking stable!

I just went to update my info section on my Facebook profile, only to discover that nothing about me has changed. I'm going to pretend this makes me feel self-knowledgeable and stable instead of boring.

p.s. Did anyone else see that the New Kids are coming to Richmond March 18th?

I feel blagh (that's a blog/blah combo for you)

I'm enjoying some time at home with a one-hundred-two degree fever. Yep, got the flu. Super fun! Saying I'm enjoying it reminded me of a totally ridiculous commercial I saw yesterday. It was for toilet paper, and it suggested using that brand of TP for a "luxurious experience" in the bathroom. Really? I don't think having my ass wiped by a shirtless Mark Wahlberg using 10,000 thread count sheets would make dismissing urine and excrement from my body "luxurious." Those advertisers are on crack. And, no, I don't know what brand of TP it was - so take that, morons!

I hope you are having a luxurious day.
