Wake-up Call
I had a dream that it was the Fall of our 4th year again, and I had just realized we only had 1 year left of college. I was so sad! Then I woke up and realized I had 0 years left.
Ouch.

I don't know how far across Central Virginia this car commercial is shown, so forgive me if you don't know what I'm talking about. Basically, this car commercial is shown like 8 times in the middle of every TV show. In it, a lady says that she always goes to this particular dealer because he sells Pontiacs, which are - and I quote - "fuel for her soul." Gag me! So I'm taking up a collection to get her a new hobby / soul fuel now that Pontiacs are about to come off the line.
I finally played in my first kickball game last night. I've been on the team for weeks and have faithfully participated in the beer drinking side of the officialness, but I hadn't played before last night due to bronchitis, rain cancellations, etc. I'll have you all know that I not only made contact with the ball, I also made it to first base. Who knows, I may even have scored a run if the players after me hadn't gotten out and finished the inning. So I saved my "scoring" for the bar afterwards, if you know what I mean.
Today I went to McDonald's for lunch, which is dangerous on several levels - one being that it is in a bad part of town (since I'm at work) and two being that (let's be honest) no one really knows what's in that freakin delicious artery clogging goodness that we call fast food. But the 83243 calories were all definitely worth it, as I got a great laugh! The person behind me told her friend she wanted a "Big and Nasty." I thought I must have heard her wrong, but her friends called her out and I realized it was not my mind that was in the gutter but hers. Nice! Make it a quickie to go, please.
I was doing an errand this afternoon and pulled over to talk to Jenna about whether or not we were meeting for lunch, since that would affect whether or not I would change directions, plus it was raining and I wasn't sure where I was. UM, YEAH, since I notice after I hang up that I am in the parking lot of a gun store. In the hood. Alone. Good thing I am at least smart enough to always lock my doors. So unobservant!
It's possible I am developing a crush on 18 year old Mike from "The Biggest Loser." At first I just wanted him to lose weight to be a good, healthy role model for other teenagers. Then I started saying things like, "Aw, I hope Mike gets a girlfriend after this show." It then progressed to, "He's definitely getting some after this." Tonight, seeing him tear up when he talked to his brother, I've decided 10 years just isn't that big of an age gap... right?!?
Now, "Bo" is a cute name for a puppy. But did no one see "Bo Obama" flashing across news headlines day in and day out as a problem? Boob-ama. Or maybe it's me who has the problem. Or maybe it's the fact that the Pres's dog is a news headline.
I swear this couple on Dancing With the Stars just had an on-camera "O" moment. Isn't this show supposed to be about dancing, not sex? I mean, I really feel the need for a cold shower, not to calm down some kind of great, positive sexual mood that they gave me, but to wash off the heeby jeebies caused by unnecessary sex on prime time. Ew.
